When reading a recent article about the media coverage given to Bob Woodruff’s TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury), I realized it hit home to my thoughts about how brain injury is still misunderstood.
While I am very appreciative of the attention brought to brain injury by Bob and Lee Woodruff, his experience cannot be a good example of brain injury rehab. The special care Bob Woodruff received is not available to the average person who sustains a brain injury. But, rather than comment more, here is a link to the article I was reading that explains further how brain injury is misunderstood.
